Question Tethered bb-sized lump?

Hi,

First, thanks for the great resource!

Second my question:

I have a BB size lump (firm) attached to my right testicle. I'm not sure how long its been there but potentially months. I've spent hours trying to figure out what exactly it might be.

1) Its sometimes very difficult to find be seems to be tethered towards the top side of the testicle, perhaps near the epididymis.

2) Its definitely not a lump on the testicle as I can get my fingers under it and actually feel a cord / tube by which it attaches and pull the lump itself away from the testical (maybe 1cm).

3) It is definitely not free floating as if I tug I can feel my testicle move and it hurts a bit (when tugged).

I know the obvious answer is to go see a doctor, but in this crazy city I can't find a family doctor who is taking patients and my experience with the drop-in doctors has been very poor (don't have time to give you the time of day, forget hearing about a problem). I will still do so but in the mean time what are your thoughts? From what I've read its sounds a lot more like a Spermatocele or Cyst but can it still be TC even though its more of a tethered lump than an attached lump?

Thanks.
Spence

Hi, Spence. We'd never dare say, "You have nothing to worry about," since only a doctor who actually examines you can do that -- but from your description, I'm quite confident it isn't testicular cancer.
